VESA

　　The VESA Local Bus, or VLB, is a local bus system that is capable of 32-bit data transfer, running at whatever clock speed is input into the processor. The VLB allows peripherals direct access to the CPU by passing by the memory bus and system controllers. At the moment, the VLB is more widely supported than the PCI, but the PCI is quickly becoming the preferred local bus system.
